In a recent interview, Saba Qamar, a well-known Pakistani actress, revealed that she had passed up an opportunity to act alongside Deepika Padukone in the Bollywood film ‘Love Aaj Kal’.

According to Saba, she received several offers from Bollywood before her breakthrough in ‘Hindi Medium’. These included roles in ‘Delhi 6’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’, and ‘Cocktail’.

Talking about auditioning for ‘Delhi 6,’ she shared, “I auditioned for ‘Delhi 6’, but my mother didn’t approve, so I decided not to take it.”

Regarding ‘Love Aaj Kal’, Saba explained that she turned it down because she felt that with Deepika Padukone in the lead role, she wouldn’t receive much attention.

“After the film was released, I watched it with friends and realized it was a mistake not to take the role,” she admitted.

Saba Qamar is best known for her role in ‘Hindi Medium’, where she portrayed the wife of the legendary actor Irrfan Khan.
