Light rain expected in Karachi before July 28 monsoon

The Meteorological Department has forecast a new monsoon spell expected to begin around July 28, bringing heavier rains and thunderstorms.

Minimum temperature recorded today is 28.8°C, with humidity levels at 75%, and the maximum is expected to reach up to 35°C. The wind speed is 18 km/h, blowing from the southwest.

The Met Department warns that a stronger monsoon system is approaching and could bring heavy rainfall and thunderstorms to the city starting around July 28.

Residents are advised to stay prepared for the upcoming monsoon season.
