KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers and Sindh Police have arrested seven operatives of banned outfit Baloch Liberation Authority (BLA) from Old Golimar area of Karachi on Saturday.

Spokesperson of Sindh Rangers said, Rangers and police in Karachi arrested 7 suspects belonging to the outlawed BLA while acting on a tip-off in Old Golimar.

The spokesperson said that the accused are involved in target killing, street crime and drug trafficking. The arrested suspected identified as Saber, Waleed, Adnan, Faisal, Muhammad Faheem, Sameer and and Ehsan Pathan.

He said that among the arrested suspects are those involved in killings, robberies, street crimes, drug trafficking and the accused of the banned organization BLA. The accused used to provide financial support to the banned organization BLA.

Spokesman Sindh Rangers said that the suspects belong to Kashif Dada, Naeem Dada, Kamal and Kashif Sindhi groups. The LEA recovered 8 nine mm pistols, 550 different types of ammunition, 16 mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the accused.

Police kill 10 terrorists in Mianwali operation

MIANWALI: At least 10 terrorists were killed an intelligence-based operation jointly conducted by Counter Terrorism Department Punjab and Police in Mianwali district.

Punjab Police Spokesperson said, operation was launched following intelligence report of the presence of 10 to 15 terrorists was reported in Malla Khel, a hilly area of ​​Mianwali.

The police force reached the area after receiving information about the terrorists.

The spokesman said that an operation was conducted against the terrorists under the supervision of District Police Officer (DPO) Mianwali Akhtar Farooq.

Spokesperson of Punjab Police, 10 terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire with the police during the operation.

KARACHI: The police arrested the accused who had committed forgery by pretending to be a government adviser.

According to the police, action was taken in Gulestan e Johar Block No.1 of Karachi and the accused was arrested. Police said that the accused used to post videos on social media with vehicles with fake number plates.

KARACHI: Additional District and Sessions Judge Central sentenced the accused for the crime of throwing acid at his wife.

The case of throwing acid on the wife was heard in the court of the Additional District and Sessions Judge Central, in which the husband was sentenced to 14 years in prison after being found guilty of throwing acid on the wife.

Apart from imprisonment, the court also imposed a fine of one million on the accused, the court observed that burning someone with acid is a greater crime than murder.

According to the police, the incident of throwing acid at the woman took place in June 2021.

Six family members killed in road accident in Muridke

LAHORE: At least six members of a family were killed and three others were wounded in a road accident in Muridke late Friday night.

According to police, the accident occurred at the Grand Trunk (GT) Road in the Rayanpur area of Muridke where a rashly driven mini-truck collided head-on with a car, killing six people on the spot and injuring three others.

The police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital. The deceased reportedly included a woman and three children.

The rescue sources said Shahbaz, Zaheer Abbas, Iram Shahzadi, Abdul Wahab, Ayan, and Iman Fatima were among those who died in the accident.

Three women including Naseem, Khadija, and Shamim were injured as a result of the accident. The family of the accident victim was going to Gujranwala from Multan.

Jobless man commits suicide after killing wife, three children

KARACHI: A man killed his wife and three children and later committed suicide in a tragic incident reported in a flat situated in Shahrah e Faisal area of Karachi.

Police said the dead bodies of the husband and wife and three children were found in the flat of Wireless Gate Shara Faisal.

The police said that the bodies of the woman and three children were on the floor, and the body of the husband was found hanging from the fan. The deceased had slaughtered his wife and three children with a sharp instrument.

Police said that the crime scene unit has been called, and after getting the evidence, the bodies will be shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).

According to local people, the deceased Ahsan Raza was worried after being fired from his job.

On the other hand, the police said that a letter written by the accused Ahsan was found in the room, in which the accused wrote to open a file stored in his laptop.
