From sharing that “Bobby” is a made-up middle name to opening up about her emotional farewell to Stranger Things and her first year of marriage with Jake Bongiovi, Millie has been candid. However, one unexpected confession has sparked plenty of reactions—she has never watched a Marvel movie.

During a recent interview, Millie hesitated when the topic came up, saying, “I—It’s not that I haven’t seen,” as Chris Pratt, a major star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, leaned in with mock suspicion. As laughter filled the room, she quickly clarified her stance.

“No, you know what, I am really, really bad just in general with watching movies. I am just somebody who lives in nature, and I love to be outside with, you know, my dogs and my animals, and so I spend a lot of time outside,” she explained.

“Although my husband, on the other hand, is a total movie buff. And it’s not that I don’t love movies—I do love movies, I’m an actor. But I just, I find myself 9, 10 hours of the day, I am outside, I don’t step foot inside my house.”

Fans had hilarious reactions, with comments like, “Girl really said ‘no reason, I touch grass’” and “I love how she’s just a farm girl now.”

The Electric State premieres on Netflix this Friday.

Reflecting on her experience growing up in the public eye, Brown added, “I started in this industry when I was 10 years old. I grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can’t seem to grow with me.”

She also pointed out how some expect her to remain the same as she did in Stranger Things Season 1. “They act like I’m supposed to stay frozen in time… And because I don’t, I’m now a target,” she said, highlighting media headlines questioning her appearance.

Refusing to apologize for growing up, she declared, “I refuse to make myself smaller to fit the unrealistic expectations of people who can’t handle seeing a girl become a woman.”
