Originally a competition for scrap metal artwork, Scrap Fest has evolved into a whole art festival with a focus on upcycled and repurposed art. The festival also offers live music, food, family activities, and eco-art booth merchants. It can now be referred to as an LGBTQ festival with Canadian roots. The event will be held in Pakistan’s Karachi this year. Urvah Khan, a Pakistani singer of Canadian descent, is presenting the concert, which will include underground and trans acts. The event is currently being promoted.

People claim that this festival is a threat to all religious teachings because no faith endorses it and that it is tragic to observe the constantly expanding LGBTQ community in Pakistan.
