Every year, the Cannes Film Festival appoints an eight-member jury from the film industry to decide the winner of the Palme d’Or and other prizes in the main competition. This year’s presiding actor is French actor Vincent Lindon, who won the best actor prize at Cannes in 2015 for The Measure of a Man and played in last year’s Palme winner Titane.
