Court upholds non-bailable arrest warrant of KP CM

ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad has upheld the non-bailable arrest warrant of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the audio leak case.

The audio leak case against Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur was heard in the District Sessions Court Islamabad during which Ali Amin and his lawyer did not appear in the court.

The court upheld the non-bailable arrest warrant of Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur while canceling the non-bailable arrest warrant of co-accused Asad Farooq when he appeared in the court.

Later, the District and Sessions Court adjourned further hearing of the case till January 25.

It should be noted that the alleged audio of Ali Amin Gandapur with a person regarding Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s long march in 2022 was leaked in which Ali Amin Gandapur is asking how many guns there are, to which the other person says a lot.

Court issues release order of PTI founder in Toshakhana case-II

£190m case verdict against PTI founder, Bushra Bibi to be announced today

RAWALPINDI: The local court issued release order for Pakistan Tehreak e Insaf(PTI) founder in Toshakhana case-II.

Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand issued a warrant for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan.

It is written in the court order that PTI founder’s bail has been approved by the High Court, if PTI founder is not wanted in any other case, he should be released.

The court has issued a written order for the release of founder PTI in the Toshakhana case-II, in which it has been said that Tariq Noon and Raja Ghulam Sajjad gave one million each to PTI founder.

Court summons Pervaiz Elahi in money laundering case on Nov 28

LAHORE: The Special Central Court Lahore has issued an interim written order in the money laundering case against former Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi and others.

Special Central Court Judge Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh issued the written order.

The Special Central Court has summoned Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in personal capacity for the upcoming hearing in the Federal Investigation Agency(FIA) money laundering case.

The court summoned the head of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) investigating money laundering. The interim written order asked that the JIT itself pursue the matter related to Moonis Elahi’s red notices and arrest from abroad.

According to the interim written order of the court, according to the prosecutor, Perveez Elahi is not seriously ill and according to the prosecutor he is participating in other events.

According to the written order, Assistant Director Moonis Elahi, including other commercial accused, should submit a report on the extension of the period of seizure of the properties of the accused.

The court will hold further hearing on November 28.

Court acquits Sheikh Rasheed in Zardari conspiracy case

ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has acquitted former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed in the case involving allegations against PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari for allegedly plotting to assassinate former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid appeared alongside his legal team.

Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mahmood gave a reserved verdict on Sheikh Rasheed’s plea of acquittal.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed while talking to the media outside the courtroom said that today, “I have been acquitted with the help of Allah Almighty, now only 14 cases of terrorism are left’’.

Referring towards PML-N and PPP, former federal minister said that two parties are a sign of hatred and everyone hates these parties. He explained that “I was not here when the incident happened, but the cases of terrorism were made”.

He said that the farmers are already not getting the rate of wheat and present government is in the grip of International Monetary Fund (IMF).

It should be remembered that a case was registered against Sheikh Rasheed in Abpara police station in 2023, Sheikh Rashid had initially made his allegations, claiming that Asif Zardari was conspiring to have Imran Khan killed. Rashid’s statement led to his subsequent arrest and the PPP complaint that sparked the legal proceedings.

Court adjourns hearing of £190m case till Nov 13

RAWALPINDI: The Accountability Court adjourned the hearing on the £190 million reference against Pakistan Tehreak e Insaf(PTI) founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi till November 13.

The £190 million reference was heard in Adiala Jail. Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the case.

During the hearing, lawyer submitted that the Islamabad High Court has ordered that the acquittal pleas be decided first.

Judge Nasir Javed Rana said that no order has yet been received from the Islamabad High Court in this regard.

The National Accountability Bureau prosecutor said that the accused were present in the court and their 342 statements should be recorded.

Faisal Chaudhry, lawyer of PTI, said that the paper consists of 79 questions and it requires time and he pleaded that 14 days should be given for answering.

The accountability court adjourned the hearing on the £190 million reference till November 13.

The PTI founder was produced in the courtroom. Bushra Bibi also appeared to Adiala Jail for hearing.

Court acquits PTI founder, Gandapur in vandalism case

ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Court Islamabad acquitted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) Imran Khan and others in Long March vandalism case.

The District and Sessions Court Islamabad acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail in the Long March vandalism case.

The court also acquitted Raja Khurram Shahzad, Ali Nawaz Awan and other accused from the case.

Civil Judge Shahzad Khan gave a pre-emptive verdict on the acquittal plea of the PTI leaders.

It may be remembered that in the Long March vandalism case, a case was registered against PTI founder Imran Khan and others in the police station secretariat.

Court hands over Aleema, Uzma Khan to police physical remand

ISLAMABAD: The District and Session Court of Islamabad handed over Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan to the police on one-day physical remand.

Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan, who were arrested two days ago from Islamabad, were produced in the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad today, where the court handed them over to the police on one-day physical remand.

The Sessions Court also handed over Adnan Khan, brother of former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, to the police on one-day physical remand.

The duty judge has ordered Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan and other accused to be produced before the Anti-Terrorism Court.
Remember that Imran Khan’s sisters were arrested 2 days ago by Islamabad Police from D Chowk.

Court annuls order declaring Gandapur proclaimed offender

ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad annulled the trial court’s order declaring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as a proclaimed offender over the recovery of arms and liquor.

A case of recovery of arms and liquor has been registered against Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur in Bharakahu Police Station.

Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjumand heard the review application of Ali Amin Gandapur, in which Ali Amin Gandapur’s lawyer filed a request for exemption from the attendance of his client, which was accepted by the court.

The petitioner’s counsel told the court that the judicial magistrate had declared Ali Amin Gandapur proclaimed offender for persistent non-appearance, but Ali Amin had not received the notice.

The Sessions Court ordered the petitioner to deposit a bond of Rs 50,000 and give a local surety.

The court annulled the order of the trial court declaring Ali Amin Gandapur as the proclaimed offender sent the case back to the trial court and adjourned the hearing till March 14.

Court issues permanent arrest warrant of Moonis Elahi

LAHORE: The Accountability Court has issued a permanent arrest warrant of former federal minister Moonis Elahi, the son of former chief minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi, in the case of kickbacks against government contracts.

The accountability court of Lahore issued a written order in the case and issued a permanent arrest warrant for Moonis Elahi.

The written order states that Moonis Elahi has been declared proclaimed offender for his non-appearance, and permanent warrants are issued for his arrest.

It should be noted that Moonis Elahi’s father and PTI President Pervaizz Elahi has been detained for several months in various corruption cases.

Court sentenced man to death for raping daughter

LAHORE: The Model Court for Gender-based Violence Lahore has awarded the death sentence to the culprit of raping a 14-year-old daughter.

Judge Mian Shahid Javed of the Model Court pronounced a death sentence on the accused Rafiq upon his conviction.

The court ordered that the accused should also pay Rs one million as compensation to the daughter.

The court declared that in case of non-payment of one million, the criminal will have to undergo another six months of imprisonment.

The court directed the jail superintendent not to carry out the death sentence until confirmation from the High Court. After the decision of the court, the criminal was moved to jail.

Court declares Chairman PTI Nikah during Iddat case maintainable

ISLAMABAD: District and Sessions Court Islamabad declared the case related to Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s Nikah during Iddat maintainable.

Judge Azam Khan of District and Sessions Courts Islamabad annulled the decision of Civil Judge Nasr Minallah and declared the Chairman PTI Nikah during the Iddat case admissible.

Earlier, Civil Judge Nasr Minallah had declared the case related to Chairman PTI Nikah during Iddat as non-maintainable against which an appeal was filed in the Sessions Court Islamabad.

It should be noted that the statement of Nikah Khawan on the issue of the marriage of Chairman PTI Imran Khan with Bushra Bibi has also come out. He admitted that he was told about Bushra Bibi’s Iddat later, after which Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi Nikah renowned it again.

Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi’s Nikah Khawan Mufti Saeed later said in his statement that for the Nikah, he was taken to a house in the Defense area of Lahore where a woman introduced herself as Bushra Bibi’s sister.
