The teaser of Mahira Khan‘s first web series Baarwan Khiladi has finally released and it looks amazing.
The series Baarwan Khiladi is a coming of age story set against the backdrop of the OG of all games – Cricket. A story about friendships, relationships, unity, failure, success, love, and courage.
Earlier, Mahira Khan had announced that she started her own production venture by the name of “Soul-Fry Films”.
She took to Instagram and shared the good news with her fans and followers. She wrote,
“I’m nervous and excited to share with all of you my first venture into production. I would have no one better to be my co-pilot on this trip with me other than Nina Kashif”
The Raees actress had revealed in an interview that she always wanted to be a director or producer but was lazy to step into the profession.
“To be honest, I’ve always been inclined to getting behind the camera, always wanted to direct or produce. But I am also very lazy when it comes to finally decide and doing something,” she told an international news outlet.
“My co-producer, Nina Kashif, gave me that push! It’s very small at the moment. I want to get my hands dirty with smaller projects first, make stories that get me excited,” the Bin Roye starlet continued.
Mahira was asked why she did not cast herself in the project, to which she replied,
“There wasn’t a role that suited me. Maybe if I was younger, I would have played a character in it.”
