BANNU: A police personnel on anti-polio campaign duty was killed by unknown motorcyclists in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the police, the incident of firing took place on Mandan Road, where motorcyclists opened fire on the police officer, as a result of which he died on the spot.
The police said that the policeman was going on anti-polio campaign duty, and a search operation has been started in the area to find the accused.
Counter Terrorism Department(CTD) issued a report on the incidents of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
