Sheynnis Palacios’ journey from Nicaragua to Miss Universe 2023
Sheynnis Palacios’ path from being Miss Nicaragua to Miss Universe has been amazing. The talented model competed strongly against Miss Thailand and Miss Australia, who were also in the top 3 of the competition.
The new Miss Universe is from Managua, Nicaragua, and has participated in various local and international beauty pageants over the years. Her progress in the competition was closely watched, and many websites that follow the contestants and predict winners were already considering her a top contender for the title.
Palacios earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and has been involved in community development in her hometown. She began her modeling journey by taking part in Miss Teen Nicaragua 2016. Later, in 2017, she represented her country in Miss Teen Universe and made it to the top 10.
In 2020, a significant moment occurred in Palacios’ life when she won the title of Miss World Nicaragua. This marked the beginning of her path towards potentially becoming Miss Universe. Because of the pandemic, beauty pageants were on hold in 2020-21. However, she made a comeback on the big stage in Miss World 2022 and reached the top 40 while representing her country.
