ISLAMABAD: Former Speaker National Assembly and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Asad Qaiser was arrested from Islamabad.
Asad Qaiser’s brother said in a video statement that Asad Qaiser has been arrested from his residence.
He said that Asad Qaiser was at home when the police and plainclothes officers came to the house and the plainclothes officers arrested Asad Qaiser and took him away.

It should be noted that the PTI delegation met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman few days ago. PTI leader Asad Qaiser was also included in this delegation.
Earlier, a local court of Tank sent PTI senior leader Kamran Bangash to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Kamran Bangash was presented before the court of civil judge.
The court approved 14-day judicial remand of PTI leader, who was arrested in a case has been registered in City Police Station.
Kamran Bangash was arrested in Tank by the police.
