PM Imran Khan’s special message to people on occasion of Eid-al-Adha

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan is one of the few countries to control the Coronavirus epidemic.

Addressing the nation, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that our smart lockdown policy was successful. Coronavirus has the lowest death toll in the last three days.

The Prime Minister said that we did things that were later adopted by others. The easiest way to reduce COVID-19 is to wear a mask, wear masks in cattle markets.

Imran Khan said that caution has to be exercised during Eid and Muharram. People had not taken precaution on Eid-ul-Fitr, the pressure on hospitals had increased.

He appealed to the people to try to sacrifice online.

The Prime Minister said that it was the first government to talk about smart lockdown. Smart lockdown was criticized but the policy of smart lockdown was successful.

Imran Khan said that curfew could not be imposed in poverty stricken countries. The world recognizes that a complete lockdown is impossible.

He said that the situation in Pakistan and Europe is different. Thousands of people died in Europe in one day. We decided to save the people from corona and hunger.

The Prime Minister said that the biggest impact of the lockdown was on the poor. The lower class of India was very much affected by the lockdown. India carried out severe lockdown but the cases are increasing.

Imran Khan said that he started Ehsaas Cash Program for the poor. Despite limited time and limited resources, Ehsaas Cash started the program. Announced a big package for the construction industry. There are still challenges ahead and we have to be careful.

He said that due to lockdown, unemployment is increasing all over the world. Restaurants, wedding halls, people associated with tourism are in trouble.
