As today is the last day for your Keto Diet Plan recipes, try to cook food exactly as mentioned.
You will soon start to see a difference in your body, as these healthy fat recipes will be shredding all the excessive unhealthy fats from your bad.
The ketogenic diet (or, for short, keto diet) is a low-carb, high-fat diet that offers many health benefits.
It involves a drastic reduction in the intake of carbohydrates and its replacement with fat. This lowering of carbohydrates places the body in a metabolic condition called ketosis. When this happens your body becomes incredibly energy-efficient in burning fat.
Last Day of Keto Diet Plan:
Here is the menu along with the recipes you should eat on the day 5th of your keto diet.
Breakfast:
No-bread Keto Breakfast Sandwich.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 eggs
- salt and pepper
- 1 oz. smoked deli ham
- 2 oz. cheddar cheese or provolone cheese or Edam cheese, cut in thick slices
- a few drops of tabasco or Worcestershire sauce (optional)
How to Cook:
- Add butter and put over medium heat to a large frying pan. Add the eggs on both sides and fry them over fast. Season with salt and pepper.
- For each “sandwich” use a fried egg as the base. Place the ham/pastrami/cold cuts next onto each stack, then add the cheese. Top off with a fried egg on each stack. If you want the cheese to melt, leave it in the oven, on low heat.
- Sprinkle a few drops of Tabasco or Worcestershire sauce if you want, and eat.
Lunch:
Tuna Salad with Boiled Eggs
Ingredients
- 4 oz. celery stalks
- 2 scallions
- 5 oz. tuna in olive oil
- ½ lemon, zest, and juice
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 4 eggs
- 6 oz. Romaine lettuce
- 4 oz. cherry tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
How to Cook:
- Chop celery and scallions finely. Add the tuna, lemon, mayonnaise, and mustard together in a medium-sized bowl. Stir to combine, and season with pepper and salt. Set aside.
- Boil the eggs for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Cut the eggs into half.
- Place the tuna mix on a bed of romaine lettuce with eggs. Add tomatoes and drizzle olive oil. Season to with salt and pepper to taste.
Dinner:
hamburger patties with creamy tomato sauce and fried cabbage
Ingredients:
Hamburger patties
- 1½ lbs ground beef
- 1 egg
- 3 oz. crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 2 oz. fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil, for frying
- 2 tbsp butter, for frying
Gravy
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 oz. fresh parsley, coarsely chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato paste or ajvar relish
- salt and pepper
Fried green cabbage
- 1½ lbs shredded green cabbage
- 4½ oz. butter
- salt and pepper
How To Cook:
Hamburger Patties & Gravy
- Add all of the hamburger ingredients to a large bowl. Mix it with a wooden spoon, or clean hands. Don’t over-mix because it can make your patties hard. Using moist hands to form 8 oblong patties.
- In a large frying pan add butter and olive oil. Fry for at least 10 minutes over medium-high heat, or until the patties have turned a pleasant color. Flip them in for just cooking a few times.
- Whisk together the tomato paste and the cream in a small bowl. When the patties are almost done, add this mixture to the frying pan. Stir for a few minutes and allow it to simmer. Season with salt and pepper.
Butter-Fried Green Cabbage
- Shred the cabbage finely using a food processor or sharp knife.
- Add butter to a large frying pan.
- Place the pan over medium-high heat and sauté the shredded cabbage for at least 15 minutes, or until wilted and golden brown around the edges of the cabbage.
- Constantly stir and lower the heat towards the end. Season with salt and pepper.
