Baby Owls Rescued After Guns N’ Roses Concert

Two baby owls were rescued by wildlife rescuers in Britain from underneath Glastonbury’s iconic Pyramid Stage after a Guns N’ Roses concert. The rescue team from Secret World Wildlife Rescue swiftly responded to a sighting of a baby owl under the stage during the band’s headlining set at the Glastonbury Festival.

The first owl was named Axl in homage to the band’s lead singer, Axl Rose. The following day, the team returned to the venue and found a second owl, which they named Slash after the band’s guitarist, Saul Hudson’s stage persona.

According to the rescuers, it appeared that the owls’ parents had built their nest underneath the stage. However, they had abandoned it due to the loud music emanating from above.

Currently, both Axl and Slash are housed in an outdoor aviary at Secret World Wildlife Rescue. While they are a bit camera-shy, the rescue group reported that the owls are doing well. No signs of them showcasing their musical talents just yet, but their progress is being closely monitored.

The heartwarming rescue of these baby owls adds a unique twist to the memorable events that unfolded at the Glastonbury Festival, leaving a positive impact on both wildlife enthusiasts and fans of Guns N’ Roses.
