Swara Bhasker’s last Instagram post included a handful of photographs of her green attire from her sangeet ceremony.
The actress looked lovely in a green lehenga, matching her spouse Fahad Ahmad, who was dressed in a green bandhgala.
The pair married in court and declared on January 6 that they had filed their documents under the Special Marriage Act.
They recently held many pre-wedding functions with their family and friends, including haldi, mehendi, and sangeet.
On Instagram and Twitter, the actor has been posting photographs and videos of their wedding festivities.
Swara took to Instagram to showcase the latest photographs of her elaborately embroidered green lehenga for her sangeet ceremony.
She can also be seen twinning with Fahad in a green kurta pajamas in several of the photos.
In the caption, she said, “Like a Queen in green courtesy my fave @rahulmishra_7 … Giving @fahadzirarahmad also princely vibes! (green heart emoticons).”

Swara shared another batch of photos from the Sangeet ceremony, this time seated with Fahad and passionately reacting to the upcoming acts. “Sangeet night in Rahul Mishra! (green heart and star emoticon)” she captioned the photo.

Swara and Fahad’s wedding celebration was held in Delhi, and Congress politician Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, TMC leader Derek O’Brien, and actor Jaya Bachchan were among those who attended. Swara chose a pink and gold lehenga for the occasion, while Fahad sported a cream-colored sherwani and white pyjama.
Swara confirmed her engagement last month. She posted the news on social media and tagged Fahad, the state president of the Samajwadi Party’s youth arm, Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha.
“Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours!”
Retweeting her post, Fahad wrote: “I never knew chaos can be so beautiful. Thank you for holding my hand love @ReallySwara.”
Swara was most recently seen in the buddy comedy Jahaan Chaar Yaar. Meher Vij, Pooja Chopra, and Shikha Talsania also appeared in the film. She is now working on Mrs Falani, a film.
