QUETTA: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) said Monday that it is time to overcome differences, establish peace and order and make way for progress.

Addressing a ceremony in Quetta, Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial said that decisions are important not the buildings.

“The destinies of nations are changed not by judicial decisions but by leadership.”

He underscored that it is high time to iron out differences and pave the way for development.

“The protection of fundamental rights is the responsibility of the court. I always tried to implement the constitution in my decisions.”

The Chief Justice of Pakistan said that Balochistan has not developed as much as it deserves, and despite having so many resources, there are many problems in Balochistan.

“Progress is not by intention but by sacrifices. It is time to walk together with sacrifice, and intention.”

CJP also said that serving the public is the duty of all of us, and cooperation with each other is very important adding that an urgent application form is created so that emergency cases can be seen.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan said in his address that there are 17 judges in the Supreme Court, and they decide the points of law in the Supreme Court.
