Mena Massoud spilled that the production of the live animation of the animated movie Aladdin may not return.

Massoud co-starred with Will Smith in the 2019 film, which was a massive financial success despite mixed critical reviews, as the famous role of The Genie of the Lamp, first played by Robin Williams. Despite the box office success, its star believes the story has come to an end.

“Very unlikely at this point,” Massoud tweeted in response to a fan’s question about the possibility of Aladdin 2 being made. This appears to contradict Ritchie, who spoke openly and optimistically about the possibility of another round with Agrabah’s most famous street rat. Ritchie stated to the press that he would “very much like to” make a sequel.
