There are several rumours that “Avatar 3” will be made as a television series in addition to its theatrical premiere.

Avatar 2: The Way of Water by James Cameron turned out to be one of the most successful films ever made. While the second installment of the “Avatar” series dominated the global box office, fans can now get pumped about part three since, in addition to receiving a theatrical release, there are numerous rumours that “Avatar 3” may also be made into a limited series on Disney+. And the amount of content for the streaming may be nine hours.
The most recent reports follow a discussion between The Hot Mic podcast presenters Jeff Sneider and John Rocha about the possibility that “Avatar 3” may be released as both a mainstream theatrical cut and a nine-hour limited series. For those who don’t know, the first and second “Avatar” movies rank in the top 5 highest-grossing movies of all time, and we all know the third installment of the action-adventure animation blockbuster will be released in theatres in December 2024.
According to the a podcast stated, “The idea is that Cameron would do all the visual effects for his nine-hour cut of Avatar 3 and then release it on Disney+ as a limited series after the theatrical cut is released.” Adding to this Rocha claimed how this plan could work while citing the example of Zack Synder’s Justice League cut. To this Sneider stated, “I think it’s such a great link that you put out there with the Justice League stuff. You know, Zack Synder pitching them how would you guys like four hours of content? I mean, you don’t have to pay for the entire four hours because we’re taking stuff that we already had.”
He continued, “So this would just be another thing, in addition to here is Avatar 3 the theatrical cut, here’s another thing that they can offer their subscribers” concluding, “If you tell me there is something new that was left on the cutting room floor, that gives me the incentive to tune in to this limited series.”
According to rumours, James Cameron shot for ‘Avatar 3’ when filming for ‘Avatar 2: The Way of Water’. Earlier sources claimed that part 3 would last nine hours, but recent reports indicate that it may become a series. The title of the third “Avatar” movie might be “Avatar: The Seed Bearer.”
