The ensemble of Beverly Hills, 90210, led by Jennie Garth, is aware that late co-star Luke Perry is constantly with them in spirit.
Garth revealed exclusively to a news channel how they plan to remember Perry in spite of his absence as other 90210 alumni get ready to reunite for an incredible 90s Con panel in Hartford, Connecticut, this weekend.
While promoting her collaboration with Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel, which she claims has helped her with her osteoarthritis, Garth, 50, explains that losing Luke and dealing with that is never easy and is never going to get easier. “And the visual constant reminder, particularly when we’re recording 90210MG, our revisit podcast. I meet him once a week, and I frequently see photos of us together. My mantle is depicted in a picture.”
It’s something that you constantly have with you, according to Garth.
We all share that in common since we all adored him, so it serves as a point of connection for the ensemble whenever they get together, she says. When we are all gathered, just place a chair there because he will be seated in it; we have a strong awareness that he is right there with us.
The former star of What I like about You goes on to say that Perry’s presence at the reunion event this weekend would “definitely” be felt.
On March 4, 2019, Perry, 52, passed away. On February 27, 2019, he experienced a stroke, and paramedics were sent to his Sherman Oaks, California, and residence. The star never recovered consciousness, an insider said at the time, according to the news. Upon leaving the hospital after a five-day stay, he was declared deceased.
“My heart is shattered. He meant a lot to a lot of people “She spoke. “Such a unique individual. Along with his family and everyone who loved him, I am incredibly sad. What a tragic loss.”
Fred Andrews was Perry’s final character before he passed away in Riverdale. Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Fifth Element were among his numerous film credits, though he also had appearances on sitcoms like Will & Grace and Spin City.
His role as Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210 made him most famous. He left the show in 1995 after six seasons, but he came back in 1998 and stayed through 2000.
