King Charles III knighted guitarist Brian May for his contributions to music and charity during the investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

The legendary artist became upset after receiving the title of Knight Bachelor, claiming he had “no words!” for the honor of being knighted by England’s King at the Palace on Tuesday (March 14).

May may be seen smiling beatifically in an Instagram shot as the British monarch puts a ceremonial sword touch on the Queen guitarist’s left shoulder.
