  • Meghan and Harry were invited in recent weeks.
  • The couple left the British monarchy in 2020.

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, the children of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, are reportedly not invited to their grandfather King Charles’ coronation.

According to reports, Meghan and Harry were invited in recent weeks, but correspondence from Buckingham Palace did not include Archie and Lilibet in the invitation.

When asked if Archie and Lilibet were invited, the royal source simply stated that they were “very young,” according to the Mirror.

According to reports, Archie and Lilibet’s parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have received invitations to King Charles’ coronation on May 6 but have yet to decide whether to attend.

The California-based couple, who left the British monarchy in 2020 due to growing internal strife, “recently received email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation,” according to a spokesperson for them, according to Britain’s Sunday Times.

“An immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess [of Sussex] will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time,” their representative added, using their formal titles.
