Apple is nearing the end of its preparations to introduce a new standalone app built particularly for streaming classical music. If you enjoy classical music, there will now be a special app for you on iOS devices.

According to reports, the Apple Classical Music App will be launched in late March 2023. In addition, it will provide access to over five million classical music tracks. Isn’t it amazing?

According to Apple, the app will offer the world’s largest classical music archive. In addition, thousands of exclusive albums will be available. According to the business, the new Apple Music app will be free for users who are already enrolled in Apple Music.

This move appears to be the culmination of Apple’s acquisition of classical music streaming provider Primephonic in 2021.

Oliver Schusser, Vice President of Apple Music and Beats, said at the time:

“Together, we’re bringing great new classical features to Apple Music, and in the near future, we’ll deliver a dedicated classical experience that will truly be the best in the world,”
According to reports, the new classical app will be available on March 28. Furthermore, the program will have hundreds of spatial audio recordings and is expected to stream in up to 192 kHz/24-bit hi-res lossless.
Nevertheless, I regret to inform you that there will be no native iPad edition of Apple Music Classical.
