In light of escalating hostilities between the ex-couples, the family of Gerard Pique is pleading with Shakira to depart from Spain earlier than she anticipated to.

The sooner the Waka Waka singer relocates to Miami, in the opinion of Joan Pique and Montserrat Bernabeu, the better it will be for them and their baby.

Shakira’s connection with the athlete’s parents has deteriorated since the Colombian singer and the sports star split, and her antics have made matters worse.

She apparently teased Montserrat by placing a witch mannequin on her balcony, and after she and Gerard split up, she even requested her boys not to call her grandmother.

As a result, Shakira’s relationship with Gerard’s family deteriorated, and now they want her to leave the nation despite their disappointment that their son’s children would accompany her.

One reporter stated that Joan and Montserrat “had made up their minds” on Shakira departing with her children, Sasha and Milan.

“It is clear to them that this is going to happen and they have the capacity to travel to Miami to see the children,” the reporter added of the elderly couple.

“The tension is such that they believe that the best remedy is that the sooner the move occurs the better for everyone… now the children are in a very bad situation,” she continued.

“They will miss little Milan and Sasha, but the situation is untenable. Everyone knows it,” the journalist said as per Marca.

As per reports, Shakira “plans to move to the American city on April 1 to take advantage of the school holidays that American students have during those weeks.”
