Jin was chosen to be his division’s assistant training instructor after completing his basic training. Fans have not held back in congratulating the artist and referring to him as a “tiger trainer” despite the artist’s agency having yet to confirm his promotion.

In the South Korean military, the position directly above a Private is known as an Il-deung-beyong, or Private First Class. Although not much information has been released about Jin’s new promotion, fans have been speculating that the artist may finally be granted the right to a number of leaves that might last anywhere from 4 to 10 days.
