The Ukrainian president has repeated his intention to secure wide-ranging foreign backing for his country through a “diplomatic marathon”.

Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned the recent round of conversations he’d had with countries like Pakistan, Uganda, and the United Kingdom in his latest evening address.

Speaking of his latest discussion with Rishi Sunak he said: “It would be great if all our partners, like the UK, understood how the speed of defense supplies affects concrete successes on the battlefield.”

Zelensky also emphasized the continued efforts to keep grain shipments from Ukraine flowing and accused Russia of damaging global food security.
