- The GT Neo 5 model will sport a 64MP camera with an Omnivision OV64M sensor.
Realme launched the GT Neo 5 with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU and the world’s quickest smartphone charging earlier this month.
According to reports from China, the company is working on a phone with significantly lower specs named the GT Neo 5 SE or GT Neo 5 Lite.
According to Digital Chat Station, the phone will be powered by the still-unannounced Qualcomm SM7475 Chipset, which is reported to be a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2.
It will also forego the 50MP camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor and the RGB notification light on the rear, resulting in a significant price reduction.
The upcoming GT Neo 5 model will sport a 64MP camera with an Omnivision OV64M sensor, which will be released later. The camera island will also lose the glass panel that displays the Snapdragon chipset.
The Realme GT Neo 5 duo’s main selling point is charging (there is one with 240W and another with 150W).
The future version would have a 5,500 mAh battery with “only” 100W charging, which, while slow in comparison to the GT Neo 5 phones, is still one of the quickest standards on the market.
