Leslie Grace speaks out about the scrapped movie

  • Leslie Grace, who plays Batgirl, recently spoke out about her stalled film.
  • Grace disagreed with Warner Bros’ assertion that the shelved film.
  • “Was not releasable” in a new interview with Variety.

According to Leslie Grace it is important to note that the $90 million DC movie had finished filming when the August 2022 release date was cancelled.

“I got to watch the picture as far as it got; the film was not complete by the time that it was tested,” Grace argued in opposition to the assertion. There were some scenes that were not even included, she said. They were cut off because of everything going on at the company while they were just starting the editing process.

The actress said, “But the film that I got to see – the sequences that were there – was wonderful. According to Grace, “I think there was definitely potential for a fantastic picture. Maybe later on, we will be able to watch clips of it.

Grace mentioned in other parts of the interview that neither Safran nor DC co-chairman James Gunn had gotten in touch with her since the cancellation of the film. Grace responded, “We have absolutely had conversations about Batgirl’s future and how Batgirl can make a rebirth,” when questioned about the future of her Batgirl persona.

“I believe that is something that fans are eager to see. I can not say for sure if that is true at this moment, so let us just see where that leads us,” she said. Grace concluded by saying, “As we have learnt, the last thing that I would want to do is give people any type of inkling of something over which I have not much control.”
