The Galaxy Buds 2 are set for another update, which has so far only been available in the company’s native market of Korea. The new build is known as R177XXU0AWA3, and it should be available in additional places very soon.
It’s a 3.06MB download that, like previous upgrades for Samsung’s TWS earphones, is obtained via the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.
The update improves the charging stability of the earphones and may fix some unspecified bugs, as they all do.
The Galaxy Buds 2 have been on the market for quite some time, and Samsung’s presentation earlier this month did not bring us a successor.
On the one hand, that’s quite unusual to observe. On the other hand, we admire the Korean company’s decision not to swamp this product sector with a plethora of offerings.
But there will surely be a replacement at some point, and we’re predicting August-ish for when the new foldables will be released.
