Prior to his coronation in May, King Charles is anticipated to respond to Prince Harry’s accusation in a rare interview.

The monarch will give his side of the tale in the “landmark” interview for the first time since the publication of Harry’s book “Spare.”

Harry and Meghan disclosed that the Palace has a “never complain, never explain” rule when dealing with the media in their Netflix documentary.

However, according to a recent article in a British newspaper, advisers at the palace are considering the possibility of the King using an interview to explain incidents referenced in Harry’s book.

If the Palace permits the interview, Charles might address the Megxit event that led to Harry and Meghan’s resignation as working royals, according to the article.

Citing an anonymous source, the report said, “Plans are already up and running for coronation coverage at the BBC, including the profile on the monarch. It is not the done thing to avoid subjects in interviews, so it makes matters tricky.”

The source said, “Even one small comment on Harry and Meghan would make worldwide news. It could also prompt a response from Harry, which would be unpredictable, like so much. Everything is very delicate.”
