Nia Long explained, “And I was so excited to finally be old enough to play his wife (in the Netflix movie) because, for years, it was like, ‘Oh, no, you’re too young.’ You realize? And now, the men always get the younger women, so here we are.”
Long also addressed her remarks about “Black movies” and “Blackfamous,” which generated a lot of interest on social media, in other places in the interview.
If Missing actress “want to clarify up,” Sykes questioned. “What I mean by that is, if we continue to exercise this ideology of independence, we continue to split,” Long said in response.
And I will always hold my fist up because I understand the experience, the actress concluded.
“But I also believe that the more we understand about one another, and the more accepting we are of one another, this thing called art should be representative of all of us,” she concluded.
On the other hand Nia Long said as much in the Instagram video by The Shade Room’s comment section, which features her grinning alongside Omarian, 38, as the two posed for photos.
In the video, shared with the caption, “The smile on Omarion’s face says it all!” Long glows in a fitted, white gown as the “Ice Box” singer styles a dark green outfit with black army boots.
Omarion also posted a clip from their public appearance on his Twitter account on Friday along with a blushing face emoji, prompting Long to respond.
When it was revealed that her ex-fiance and former Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka had an alleged affair with a woman working for the team and had been suspended as a result, the Fatal Affair actress’s most recent relationship came to an end in December 2022. Later, he expressed regret to his colleagues, but he declined to make any additional comments.
