Drake was forced to interrupt his Apollo Theatre performance. A fan tumbled from the venue’s mezzanine balcony onto the crowd, interrupting the rapper’s second SiriusXM event on Sunday. The 36-year-old One Dance singer had been performing for around 90 minutes when a fan fell into the orchestra pit from the second-story balcony.
When the event occurred, Drake and 21 Savage were performing songs from their collaboration album on stage together. Other supporters’ videotapes of the event captured the crowd’s terrified response. Drake did not witness the fall from the mezzanine, but a crew member ran on stage a short while later to tell Drake to stop the show.

The rapper informed the audience, “Just gotta make sure somebody is ok. As the venue’s lights came on, 21 Savage and Drake both departed the stage. A lighting fixture near the stage was broken by the man’s fall, which caused a 15-minute delay in the performance. After some time, a voice in the crowd announced that there were no injuries.
