The new teaser suggests that Din will be making a trip back to his native planet of Mandalore, in contrast to the book’s ending, which hinted that he had adopted Grogu as his kid once more. Lee Isaac Chung

One of the best features of the series so far has been the emergence of a distinctive Mandalorian culture, and Chung ought to give this sector of the world even more distinctiveness.

Carl Weathers

After making his debut in Season 1 as Greef Karga, Weathers quickly won over fans. The underappreciated Christmas adventure picture Rise of the Guardians had shown that Ramsey could put together a poignant, action-packed perspective on recognizable characters.

Ramsey won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for the universally acclaimed Spidey adventure, which has been hailed as one of the all-time best animated and comic book movies. Given his distinctive visual style, Ramsey’s episode ought to be among the most distinctive ones of the season. We’ve seen in the past that many filmmakers who started in animation, like Brad Bird and Andrew Stanton, find success when they shifted to live-action.

Bryce Dallas Howard
