After grabbing a gun after a dispute with another youngster, a 14-year-old girl fatally shot an 11-year-old boy in the parking lot of a Dallas apartment complex, according to authorities.
Despite shooting at the girl with whom she was fighting, the 14-year-old onlooker was hit by the bullet on Sunday afternoon, according to the police.
Police Sgt. Warren Mitchell stated that “everyone involved is a youngster and this is just a sad situation.”
After being transferred to a hospital, the 11-year-old passed away.
According to police, the 14-year-old fled the scene of the shooting and was later apprehended at an adjacent apartment building.
According to them, the 14-year-old is currently being held at a juvenile detention facility and will likely face murder-related charges.
The tool was recovered, according to police, who continue to investigate.
