Prince Harry may be barred from attending King Charles’ coronation because senior royals are concerned he will leak private conversations, according to a source.
In the Duke’s controversial new memoir Spare, which was released in a hardcover format this week, shocking claims were made about members of The Firm.
It includes claims that the Prince of Wales physically assaulted him and teased him about his panic attacks, as well as claims that the King prioritized his own interests over Harry’s and was jealous of the Duchess of Sussex and the Princess of Wales.
While the book has sold well so far, new reports claim that his secret-spilling antics may have cost him a seat at his own father’s coronation this spring.
Senior family members are reportedly concerned that he may seek to include details of conversations with his closest family in future editions of the book.
“There have been discussions among the family, including Edward and Anne,” a source told the Reputed tabloid newspaper.
“They don’t want private Coronation conversations to make it into the paperback edition of Spare.”
Charles III’s coronation is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, in London, eight months after his accession to the throne.
On Monday, May 8, the UK will observe a bank holiday in honor of the occasion.
