Police swarmed Billie Eilish’s childhood home after a man is said to have jumped a fence and attempted to break in.
Officers from the LAPD responded to a burglary call at the singer’s family home in the Highland Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles on Thursday night (05.01.23) and are now holding the suspect in custody.
Although it has been claimed that a man wearing a black mask and dark clothing hopped a fence, it is unknown if anything was taken or if anyone was home at the time, including vocalist Billie, who is 21 years old.
Local television footage showed cops searching the house for evidence after the event.
Billie, who was reared in the home with her 25-year-old brother and musical partner Finneas, was born in Los Angeles to actors Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell.
We presume Billie’s parents are still the property owners.
In the 2021 Apple TV+ documentary, “The World’s a Little Blurry,” the singer and Finneas offered fans a tour of the house, and she was pictured there as an adolescent recording with her brother.
In the movie, Billie claimed that they created a “album in our bedroom” and encouraged audiences that “everything is possible” with their do-it-yourself endeavours.
