The director of Gunday recently sent a sweet message in which he thanked his wife for always making him smile and laugh at his “silly jokes.” Ali noted: “Thank you for laughing on my silly jokes and making Me sparkle every second of our life (heart emoticon). #happyanniversarymylove.” Zafar uploaded photographs from the celebrations along with a beautiful statement. He also dropped two cute images and a picture of a chocolate cake with the words “Happy Anniversary” on it. He is pictured in the first image alongside his wife Alicia and daughter Alija Zehra Zafar.

In a little ceremony, Ali Abbas Zafar and Alicia were united in marriage in 2021. The filmmaker posted a picture of his wedding on Instagram with the caption, “1400 years ago Imam Ali said to Fatimah Al- Zahra’s, all my worries and sadness disappears when I look at your face, I feel the same Alicia Zafar. Mine for life.”

The couple had Alija Zehra Zafar, a daughter, as their first child on September 24 of the previous year. He posted a photo of Alicia holding her growing kid and penned a lengthy statement to give the good news about the birth of his daughter. A portion of his note stated, “Now after almost after 2 years we are thankful to Almighty Allah for blessing us with most beautiful gift of our life. She came in our life on 24th September at midnight 12.25. Please welcome our bundle of Joy – Alija Zehra Zafar.”
