Shay Mooney, a member of Dan + Shay, began the New Year by posting images of himself without a shirt on before and after he lost 50 pounds.
“Consistency. In just six months, my entire world altered. No fads or gimmicks. The 31-year-old stated on Instagram on Monday, “Just consistency.
“If that tired guy on the left can do it so can you. 💪🏻,” he added.
Mooney displayed a larger figure in the “before” photo while posing in front of a mirror while wearing only a pair of black Calvin Klein boxer shorts.
But in the “after” image, he appeared almost half his size while flaunting his newly toned body in a pair of gym shorts. Not even 10,000 hours were required.

“Consistency. I changed my entire world in 6 months. No gimmicks or fads. Just consistency,” the 31-year-old wrote on Instagram Monday.

Mooney flaunted a larger figure in only a pair of black Calvin Klein boxer underwear in the “before” photo, which was taken in front of a mirror.
However, he appeared almost half his size in the “after” selfie, showing off his freshly toned body while donning a pair of gym shorts.
In a prior post on the social media site, Mooney said that he had made the decision to lose weight as a result of “no longer recognizing” himself.
“I got to a place mentally and physically that I will never go again,” he shared on Dec. 2. “It matters what we eat. It matters who you spend your time with. It matters what you choose to spend your time on. I’m so thankful for the people in my life that helped me make a change. No one forced me into this. I wanted to change my life for me.”
