Mintz-Plasse proposed to Britt Bowman! The 33-year-old actor, who portrayed McLovin in the popular 2007 comedy Superbad, announced on Instagram that he is engaged to Britt Bowman, a photographer who specializes in covering live music. Since June 2017, the two have been dating, and this past weekend on Christmas Eve, Mintz-Plasse proposed.
He posted a collection of pictures with Bowman and joked, “Life’s over!!!” as Bowman flaunted the new ring.
In one image from his post, Mintz-Plasse can be seen practicing his marriage proposal with Hilary Duff’s husband and friend Matthew Koma, who is also his friend. I can’t wait to spend the rest of your life with you, Koma, 35, wrote in the comment area.
More of Mintz-well-known Plasse’s acquaintances remarked on the news, such as Mandy Moore and Alison Brie, who both wrote “Awwww congrats!!!” in response.
Bowman posted additional images to her Instagram account along with the message, “@mintzplasse did a thing,” and the location tag, Nebraska.

Happy birthday to my girlfriend, I am her queen, the Role Models star said on Instagram in honor of Bowman’s birthday in August. She wished him a happy birthday while sharing a picture of them in the sun on his birthday in June.
Mintz-Plasse referred to Bowman as his “babe” and called her “truly the loveliest person I’ve ever met” in a birthday card he wrote for her back in 2018.
He added at the time, “Thanks for taking care of me and making my house a home. Please don’t go on tour again because I’m a mess when you’re gone, but that’s beside the point. Love you a much.”
