The animal welfare group tells exclusively that it is “hoping hard” the founder of Skims has alternate arrangements for her dogs after she faced backlash for uploading a video that appeared to show her two Pomeranians living in her garage.
Knowing that Kim is anti-fur and primarily vegan, Lisa Lange, senior vice president of PETA, tells us, “We are really hoping that she does not consign her canines to life in a garage.”
The fact that dogs are extremely sociable pack animals who require more than just comfortable bedding and pretty stockings is something PETA is aware of. It is their right to feel protected, and loved, and to reside inside the home with their owners as members of the family.
Fans were already annoyed by Kardashian’s TikTok video, but her choice to take it down only served to fuel rumours that her daughter North’s dogs are residing where a car should be.
