The former NBA star talked to Entertainment Tonight on Monday about his diet and training routine, claiming that after making certain changes to his way of life, the weight “simply dropped off.”

The former athlete claimed, “A buddy of mine contacted me and said, ‘You’re obese,’ and she gave me this guy’s name, and he performed some blood work. “You can do this, you can’t do that, [eat] more veggies, [your] iron’s low,” he was admonishing.

The 50-year-old remarked, “Once I just started adjusting those certain items, it decreased. It all comes down to eating properly.

O’Neal stated that he had never been “a salad eater” but that he now supplements, drinks shakes, and stays away from soda.

He stated that he intended to give up bread as well, adding, “I think I could get the Marky Wahlberg look. I desire to be referred to as “the Black Mark Wahlberg.”

Two months have passed since O’Neal appeared on “Impaulsive,” where he revealed to Logan Paul that he had lost 365 pounds after going from 401.

At the time, the Olympian disparaged Charles Barkley, a 59-year-old sports broadcaster, stating Barkley was his “motivation” to have a distinct “retirement body.”

O’Neal continued, “I didn’t want my stomach to be over the belt anymore. I wanted to become a sex symbol. So I simply thought, “Let me go ahead and get thin.

The rapper stunned his Instagram followers in September with a shirtless exercise video that has since gone viral.

One social media user commented, “Do I see a 6 pack?” while another joked, “Shaq with the ab implants.”
