Drew Barrymore plans to take her kids to beach

  • For the holidays, Drew Barrymore is prepared to go exploring.
  • When asked about her plans for the upcoming season, the actress and producer told Travel.
  • Leisure that she wants to spend some time with her two girls on a calm beach vacation.

Drew Barrymore from 50 First Dates spoke candidly to the publication about her dislike of giving presents to her kids.

Because I don’t buy kids presents, I am one of those mothers who sounds like a harsh Scrooge, she claimed. “I always take them out to expose them to real-world situations. For me, creating new memories is crucial. I’ve therefore never truly given gifts under the tree.”

Barrymore claimed she is a multi-day itinerary planner who includes must-try cuisine and entertaining events, but this year she is looking forward to some rest and leisure.

She recently described her vacation plans to Travel + Leisure as “We’re going to go chase the sun.” “Nine months of the year, we spend working in a studio without windows, so I suddenly wondered, “Oh, what’s something like, with a horizon?” We’re heading to a beach where we’ll go snorkeling and literally act like porpoises and dolphins. Usually, I try to do something very cultural, but I think the girls and I need to go faceplant since we are so worn out from working hard and attending class.”

Since 2020, the actress from Never Been Kissed has been the host of her own daytime talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show.

Barrymore also talked openly about her efforts to live sustainably in all facets of her life.

According to Travel & Leisure, she is the first Global Brand and Sustainability Advocate for Grove Collaborative, a manufacturer of eco-friendly personal care products.

“I believe that we are increasingly just attempting to determine how to have one indulgent option and then how to make everything else around it less expensive. How, for instance, can everyone board that commercial airline and then check into an environmentally conscious hotel? “asked Barrymore. “Then, how you pack, how much of what you bring, and what things you bring. For me, even the smallest step matters.”
