Paramedic feels unwell during today’s strikes

Ambulance employees in the West Midlands are always late.

Ellie, an ambulance technician in Coventry, told Sky News that they apologize to new patients first.

“Before you say your name, you apologize for the delay,” she remarked.

“We’re both humiliated. You wait so long for us…you feel awful for them.”

Siobhan helped an elderly woman who had fallen at home and waited 19 hours for an ambulance.

She realizes that some individuals may have to wait longer than normal today due to the strike.

“That makes us queasy. “The strike has limited their resources,” she stated.

“No one wants to strike, so there’s apprehension this morning – it’s sad.”
