Sharon Osbourne is recovering.
The TV icon, 70, is home for the holidays after a medical emergency.
“Back home and doing fantastic!” she said Dec. 19 alongside a snap of her dog Elvis by the tree. “Thanks for [love].” Sharon’s old The Talk co-hosts expressed well-wishes. “Yay!” Carrie Ann Inaba said, “Elvis’ got you!” “Thank God,” wrote Amanda Kloots.
Sharon was taken to a hospital on Dec. 16 for a “unspecified medical problem,” according to Santa Paula police. The medical emergency was “non-life threatening,” according to a source.
The next day, Sharon’s son with husband Ozzy Osbourne, Jack Osbourne, said she was recording an episode of Night of Terror with him when the medical emergency occurred.
“She’s been cleared by her medical team and is home,” he wrote Dec. 17. “Thanks for your love and support. My mom can discuss what happened when she’s ready.”
Sharon said on her U.K. show The Talk that Ozzy’s “big procedure” would define the remainder of his life. Two days after the June 13 treatment, Black Sabbath’s 74-year-old front man said he was “recovering peacefully at home.” Ozzy returned to the stage in Birmingham, England, in August to close the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Ozzy told Classic Rock in May that he was “waiting for further neck surgery” The musician endured ATV accident injuries in 2003 and neck surgery in 2019.
Ozzy and Sharon have discussed his health before, including his Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2020.
“I think of my husband, who was very energetic, loved to go for walks, and did a two-hour programme every night,” she said in the ITV documentary Paxman: Putting Up With Parkinson’s. “Suddenly, your life stops”
