‘The Menu‘, a razor-sharp satirical thriller from Searchlight Pictures, will be released on digital, Blu-ray, and DVD in the first few months of 2019.
The movie, which will be the ideal gift for the occasionally difficult Christmas season, is scheduled for digital release on January 3, 2023, and Blu-ray and DVD release on January 17, 2023.
In the movie The Dinner, Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult play a young couple who travel to a coastal island to eat at a ridiculously posh restaurant where the chef, played by Ralph Fiennes, has created an opulent menu with some pretty stunning and horrifying shocks.
The young foodie couple is joined on the island by a number of other wealthy and silly visitors who exhibit the most outrageous features of high-end restaurant culture.
On November 18, 2022, the movie received Searchlight’s broadest distribution to date in theatres. The movie garnered average to favorable reviews from critics, who complimented its biting wit and societal critique in general.
The movie also stars Hong Chau as Elsa, Janet McTeer as Lillian Bloom, Reed Birney as Richard Liebbrandt, Judith Light as Anne Liebbrandt, and John Leguizamo in addition to Taylor-Joy, Fiennes, and Hoult.
Based on a story by Will Tracy, Seth Reiss and Will Tracy wrote the screenplay for the movie. The new digital, Blu-ray, and DVD release will include several featurettes, such as “Open Kitchen: A Look Inside The Menu,” “First Course,” “Second Course,” and “Dessert,” in which director Mark Mylod delves into the process of creating The Menu, “Second Course,” and “Dessert,” in which the film’s costume designer Amy Westcott discusses the movie’s s’mores scene. The disc will also contain the movie’s cut sequences.
Will Ferrell, Betsy Koch, and Adam McKay produced the movie The Menu. McKay is well-known for his work on the Netflix series Don’t Look Up and the popular HBO series Succession.
But like Ferrell, who frequently works with McKay, he is also recognised for his slapstick beginnings. Step Brothers, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy are just a few of the movies that McKay wrote and directed.
Digital distribution of The Menu will start on January 3rd, 2023. The movie will then be made available on Blu-ray and DVD on January 17, 2023, later that month.
By merchant, special features will differ.
