- Aaron Carter, according to Melanie Martin.
- Would be overjoyed to learn that she had reclaimed full custody of their son, Prince.
- The late singer’s on-again, off-again fiancée said, “I know Aaron would have been happy,” to People on Friday.
“This triumph is dedicated to him. Only Aaron could be here to experience this with me.
Martin claims that sometime in September, Carter “took it pretty hard when [their] son got taken away.”
The “I Want Candy” singer revealed that the pair had temporarily lost custody of their child owing to domestic violence and drug usage issues during that month, adding that Prince was in Martin’s mother’s care.
After the verdict was made on Thursday, Jane, Aaron’s mother, told TMZ that she was happy with the outcome because “the child should remain with the mother.”

Despite the fact that she has yet to meet Prince, who celebrated his first birthday less than three weeks after Aaron’s death on November 5, Jane stated that she does not “need the money” for herself or the rest of her renowned family.
Martin, 30, seemed to be in agreement.
She previously told Us Weekly that she didn’t want Aaron’s estate to cause her any issues or stress. “I simply want Aaron’s legacy to endure, and I want Prince to be taken care of.”
Whoever wants to be in Prince’s life can be in Prince’s life, she said.
Aaron passed away without leaving a will, so Jane requested her daughter Angel, the singer’s twin, to apply to be the executor of his estate.
According to California succession laws, the pop star’s kid will likely inherit his personal property and real estate holdings, which are estimated to be worth about $500,000.
