UFO investigation finds no alien activity

  • There is no evidence that aliens have visited the earth: Pentagon.
  • The Pentagon’s initiative to investigate anomalous, unidentified objects has led to hundreds of new reports.
  • The Office of the Director of National Intelligence reported 144 UFO sightings.

Senior military leaders say the Pentagon’s current campaign to study UFO reports hasn’t produced any evidence that aliens have visited Earth or crash-landed here.

The Pentagon’s initiative to investigate anomalous, unidentified objects has led to hundreds of new reports, US defense officials said Friday.

Between 2004 and 2021, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence reported 144 UFO sightings, 80 of which were captured on multiple sensors.

So far, “we haven’t seen anything, and it’s still early,” Ronald Moultrie, undersecretary of defense for intelligence and security, told reporters.

Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the Pentagon’s newly formed All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), said he was adopting a scientific approach to the research.

“Our analysis is quite detailed and rigorous,” she said. Kirkpatrick said at the first news conference since AARO was founded in July after a year of emphasis on UFOs that US military pilots had observed but were often unwilling to report due to stigma.

Kirkpatrick: “We’ve had more reporting.”

Kirkpatrick reported “several hundred” fresh UFO reports.

Sightings of aircraft that don’t match known technology or that defy physics have long been touted as evidence of extraterrestrial life, with many assuming the US government has more UFO evidence than it has published.

Officials expect a report from the Director of National Intelligence by the end of the year with fresh UFO reports since 2021.

In May, the US Congress conducted its first UFO hearing in more than half a century, with many lawmakers expressing worry that the unknown constitutes a security danger, whether the objects are alien or new, unknown technology flown by China, Russia, or another possible opponent.

Future stealth bombers and fighters, drones, and hypersonic missiles from the US and China could be mistaken for UFOs.

Kirkpatrick said his agency is working with the Pentagon and US intelligence to identify new US technologies to rule out UFOs.

He said “very explicit methods” would be established with the Department of Defense and the US intelligence community to rule out US technology from UFO encounters.
