Rakul Preet Singh, who was in the movie “Aiyaary,” has been called in by the ED today, December 16, for an alleged money laundering case related to a high-end drug ring. But the actress hasn’t said anything about the latest news yet. Several famous people have been questioned about an alleged scheme to sell high-end drugs like LSD and MDMA.

Back in 2021, Rakul Preet Singh was also called in by the police. If the reports are true, she, Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati, and Baahubali director Puri Jagannadh all said they have nothing to do with drug traffickers and don’t use drugs. Earlier, 11 members of the Telugu film industry, including Ravi Teja, Charmee Kaur, and Navdeep, were investigated by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Telangana’s Prohibition and Excise Department.

For those who don’t know, the drug ring was discovered in 2017 when customs agents arrested musician Calvin Mascarenhas and two other people with Rs 30 lakh worth of drugs on them. When the police dug a little deeper, they reportedly found that a lot of famous people from Tollywood could be involved in this scam.
