The world will be reminded of exactly how far George Clooney will go for a chuckle during the 45th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, which will air on CBS on December 28 at 8 p.m.

Regarding his 61-year-old lifelong friend, George Clooney, Damon, 52, comments, “It has been argued that he is the last of the true movie stars.”

“I began to consider what that meant specifically. Many previous Kennedy Center recipients have undoubtedly been cinematic stars in the traditional sense. Classy and refined actors like Cary Grant, Henry Fonda, Paul Newman, Gregory Peck, “He goes on, building to the punchline.

Kind and the Ocean’s Eleven actor shared a room together, and Kind also kept a tiny cat there. Because he was bored, Clooney started taking the cat’s waste out of the litter box and flushing it down the toilet while he told the tale.

“And at last he exclaims, “I get humour! It doesn’t amuse me to defecate!”

CBS will broadcast the Kennedy Center Honors ceremony on December 28.
