After marrying the actor who comes from a Punjabi family, Vicky Kaushal claims Katrina Kaif has learned a significant amount of Punjabi. Vicky, the son of stuntman Sham Kaushal and Veena, frequently posts videos of himself singing along to Punjabi tunes in his car.
Last year, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina exchanged vows at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur. They recently held a hilly celebration for their first wedding anniversary. With Vicky’s family, Katrina has previously also celebrated holidays like Karwa Chauth, Diwali, and Lohri.

When discussing how Katrina has picked up his native tongue, Vicky said in an interview, “Voti Punjabi bol leti hai thodi thodi (my wife is able to speak a bit of Punjabi).” The actor also said that that the secret to a good life is saying “hanji (yes)” all the time.
On Tuesday, Vicky and Katrina attended a beauty event together, and on Wednesday, they attended the premiere of Vicky’s next movie Govinda Naam Mera. During their respective appearances on Koffee With Karan season 7 this year, the couple discussed life after marriage.
Calling Katrina the ‘wisest’ and ‘most compassionate’, Vicky said, “It actually does feel great. I really truly do feel settled. It’s a very beautiful feeling to kind of have that companion. And I just feel truly lucky to just find that in her – life partner. She is a wonderful soul and one of the wisest and the most compassionate person I have ever come across.”

“I really learn from her a lot and she really grounds me. She is like a mirror to me. She would state out hard facts which I need to know and hear. And you always need that person with you. I truly feel fortunate to have her as my life partner,” he added.
Vicky will now appear alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani in Govinda Naam Mera. On December 16, it will debut on Disney+ Hotstar. Additionally, he is working on Sam Bahadur, Laxman Utekar’s and Anand Tiwari’s upcoming projects.
