Saturday’s snowfall disrupted traffic across Scotland, southwest England, the Midlands, north-west England, and Wales.

Dublin airport canceled dozens of flights owing to severe snowfall, and Manchester airport closed both runways.

Sunday and Monday could see power outages, cell phone coverage issues, and rural villages being cut off.

Sunday’s wintry showers will linger in northern Scotland but fade elsewhere.

Much of Scotland, Wales, and south-western England are under a yellow warning for snow and ice until 12pm on Sunday.

Gritters are out across the UK to keep motorways and other key routes open, while the RAC says breakdown calls are 25% higher than usual.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) advises individuals to look out for vulnerable friends and relatives in the cold and ensure they have warm food and beverages. Indoor temperatures should be at least 18C. (64.4F).
